Pacific Coast Homes was founded in 2012 by a small group of relocation consultants who kept hearing the same frustration from foreign residents: finding a home in Japan felt harder than it should be. Language barriers, unfamiliar contracts, and landlords hesitant to rent to non-Japanese tenants left many families settling for less than they deserved.
Today, our team of bicultural advisors works exclusively with verified, foreigner-friendly properties across Yokohama, Kamakura, Shonan and the wider Kanagawa coast — guiding diplomats, executives and families from first search to move-in day, entirely in the language of their choice.
